About The Author

Brian P. Black often wonders what his cats are thinking, especially when they stare at him with sufficiently judgmental looks on their faces. His latest novel, The Superlatively Pedigreed Order of Kitten Spies: Golden Yarn Deception, pays homage to cats and their exquisitely eccentric and entertaining behaviors. And if that were not a profoundly compelling argument for reading the preceding pages, he has cleverly supplemented the cat details with mystery and intrigue!

A former military officer, university professor, inventor, and entrepreneur, Brian has always enjoyed creative writing, particularly poetry and short stories.

He and his wife, Pearl, live adventurously on the Kitsap Peninsula in Washington, where they serve as support staff and paparazzi for their two grown-up kittens.
